Our Mission

The Claremont Progressive is an independent student newspaper for progressive voices at the Claremont Colleges. Through our paper, we seek to eradicate apathy by inspiring our readers to action.  By supporting progressive movements both on campus and in the larger community, we hope to play a role in the larger struggle for a just world. The Claremont Progressive aims to contribute to a community governed by economic, environmental, and social justice by spreading awareness and creating opportunities for engagement.
